2012  College Hoops Bracket Contest

Who will win the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship? Here's your chance to show off your college basketball knowledge.

Pick the brackets all the way to the tournament champion. Entry is free, but one entry per person. Limit of one player per email address.  Brackets can be added, edited and deleted up until the bracket deadline.

Scoring: Points are scored for each correct pick as follows. The player with the highest point total at the end of the tournament is the winner.

CONTEST POINTS SCORED BY ROUND
1st Round 1 point for each correct pick (32 possible total points)
2nd Round 2 points for each correct pick (32 possible total points)
3rd Round 4 points for each correct pick (32 possible total points)
4th Round 8 points for each correct pick (32 possible total points)
5th Round 12 points for each correct pick (24 possible total points)
6th Round 16 points for correct pick (16 possible total points)

Tie-breaker: If no player wins the pool outright, then the tie-breaker is determined by the closest prediction to the total final score (both teams combined) in the National Championship Game. Players will enter a prediction on the bracket picksheet. If the tie-breaker does not determine the winner, a random drawing will be used to break the tie.

Prizes: The Top Ten Players (i.e. highest point scores) are eligible to win a T-shirt.

The website has lots of interesting reports and statistics, and the standings will update after each game.
