SPL College Hoops Bracket Contest
2010 Rules
This contest is based on the 2010 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. Players pick the winner for each game on the entire bracket. At the end of the tournament, the player with the most points wins the contest.
Entry is free, but one entry per person. Limit of one player per email address. Sign-up starts March 14 at approximately 9PM ET and ends March 18, 2010 at 12PM ET. No late sign-up. The contest is limited to the first 125 players.
Bracket Deadline: All brackets are to be submitted online directly from this website. Brackets can be added, edited and deleted up until the bracket deadline.

Tie-breaker: If no player wins the pool outright, then the tie-breaker is determined by the closest prediction to the total final score (both teams combined) in the National Championship Game. Players will enter a prediction on the bracket picksheet. If the tie-breaker does not determine the winner, a random drawing will be used to break the tie.
Prizes: The Top Ten Players (i.e. highest point scores) are eligible to win Sports Tavern T-shirts.
Miscellaneous: The "Play-in" game that is played on Tuesday before the first round is not counted in this contest. We reserve the right to reject or modify objectionable screen names. Please report objectionable screen names to the commissioner through the "Help & Rules" menu. Objectionable screen names may be deleted without notice to the player. Submitting multiple brackets is not allowed and may result in all of your brackets being disqualified.
Special Circumstances: Due to the nature of the internet, the contest website may not be available at all times. It may be especially difficult to connect to the website as the picks deadline nears due to high traffic volume. Therefore, you are encouraged to complete your picksheet as early as possible (remember, you can modify the picksheet as many times as you want until contest deadline). Neither the website administrator nor the sponsor is responsible for website malfunction. The commissioner reserves the right to rule on matters not specifically covered by the rules. The decision of the commissioner on all matters relating the contest is absolute and final.
